Diagnosis & Treatment of Myofascial Pain Syndrome

Abstract
|
|
|
Voluntary skeletal muscle is the largest single organ of the human body. Myofascial trigger point of skeletal muscle are extremely common & become a distressing part of nearly every one´s life at one time.
The importance of myofascial pain syndrome has been described in the literature on
anesthesiology, dentistry, orthopaedic & rehabilitation medicine.
Especially, myofascial low back pain are major cause of industrial lost time & compensation application.
We briefly review the diagnosis & treatment of myofascial pain syndrome in this article.
